What is NNN (NNN agreement)?

An NNN agreement goes further than a typical Western NDA. Non-disclosure stops the factory from revealing your information; non-use stops it from using your design for itself or others; non-circumvention stops it from going around you to sell directly to your customers.

To work against a Chinese company, an NNN agreement should be in Chinese (or bilingual with the Chinese text governing), under Chinese law, with Chinese courts having jurisdiction and a clear amount of damages for a breach. An NDA under US law is hard to enforce against a factory with no US assets.
