What is PSI (Pre-shipment inspection)?
A final random inspection of finished, packed goods before they leave the factory, checking quantity, quality, function and packing against the order.
A pre-shipment inspection (PSI), also called a final random inspection, is done when production is complete and most of the goods are packed. Inspectors draw a random sample using AQL tables and check appearance, dimensions, function, labels, marking and packing against the golden sample and the specification.
It is the last practical chance to stop a bad shipment. Many buyers tie the balance payment to a passed inspection, because once goods are paid for and shipped, the buyer has much less leverage.
Beato's own inspectors check goods at the factory before shipping and send photos, video and a written report, with a live video call if you want to see the goods yourself. If your goods don't match the approved sample, you choose a remake, a replacement or a refund, at no cost to you.
